Gary has been working in health and fitness for nearly 20 years. With a B.S. in Movement and Sports Science and a background as a personal trainer, Gary became a Certified Massage Therapist in 2008.
Gary is dedicated to helping his clients address the root cause of their pain and dysfunction. Whether it’s related to injury, surgery, posture, exercise, or life stressors, Gary’s techniques help uncover and treat the root neuro-muscular-skeletal patterns that have created and perpetuated that discomfort.
He uses Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) as a way to assess, identify, and reprogram neurologic-patterning of muscles, ligaments, and movement patterns; and then Myofascial Release (myofascial massage, stretching, ball rolling, Rock Blades/Pods/Floss) to release tension and pain in the identified culprits. He finds Myofascial Release, in conjunction with Neurokinetic Therapy, to be profound therapies, helping his clients break free from bodily pain and physical restrictions.
Gary’s care for his clients’ wellbeing is obvious in his mindful approach and heartfelt presence.

Lara's fascination with fascia began 20 years ago. After two decades of sports injuries and years of pain, she had an 'ah-ha' moment!
All those times she fallen off my horses, skis, snowboard, and mountain bikes, were not incidental. With muscles of painful concrete, that no doctor could explain, myofascial release was the first relief she had in years!
Her healing journey eventually brought her to John F. Barnes approach Myofascial Release™ (MFR). With a background in Structural Integration and movement, for many years, she found my specialty in the profoundly effective fascial-structural therapy of Myofascial Release. But there was more to learn about our body-mind-spirit...
In addition to the Myofascial Release program, she completed a two-year Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Training (BCST), and is currently training in the Upledger method of CST. Mixing healing bodywork with my passion for movement (ah la Yoga, Yoga Tune Up®, DNS Breathwork, Applied Functional Movement, Foot and Gait, and more), she has no intention of stopping this fabulous learning journey. She continues to explore the body’s healing potential with an East-meets-West belief system. Lara is currently studying to become a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) through the prestigious Gray Institute, she will be one of just over 1,000 movement professionals worldwide to achieve this title and great honor.
Lara has taken more than 2000 hours in MFR, Craniosacral Therapy (CST), NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), Dermo-Neuro-Modulation (DNM), Myo-Skeletal Alignment, Structural-Visceral Manipulation, Neuromuscular Re-education, Energy Medicine, and Shamanism; along with anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology, injury evaluation, and related coursework at UCLA Extension, which I blend with my love of movement and the outdoors, for a whole mind-body approach to healing and moving through life.
